Speaking of zealous code communities, I increasingly love the PHP lot - I had a stickler on a problem with a package for PEAR that was only properly released a month ago, and is fairly obscure, so I tracked down a fellow from a forum , popped an email to his gmail account late last night (naturellement), and already he has replied and helped me solve the thing..megaaaa
Entirely unrelated: saw Sue Denim and the Portugeezer (Beveridge could never be described as un-masculine, I feel) in Morvern Callar (on VHS! remember that?) - Sue gets much more of the camera, but wastes it by doing that rapid head nod thing he does when he is giving something ALL OF HIS ATTENTION
I was an extra in a film once - features Greta ‘ Chess’ Scacchi, but I have yet to see it, as REMARKABLY it went straight to video…I hope I find a copy before my VCR gets thrown onto some Hyndland thoroughfare, as seems to be all the rage these days.
